Meet Ashlee
Ashlee Bohanon, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker originally from Northern California. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, where she was also a member of the Women’s Track and Field team. Ashlee went on to attend New York University, where she completed her Master’s degree in Social Work in one year. After relocating to Houston, Texas, Ashlee gained extensive experience working in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, cancer hospitals, schools, nonprofit organizations, and Child Protective Services. She gently challenges problematic areas while collaborating with clients to identify goals, develop actionable plans, and build the tools and skills needed to regulate emotions, regain balance, and restore peace. Outside of therapy, Ashlee enjoys traveling, participating in church events, and planning experiences for her social club of social workers. She is deeply passionate about the work she does and looks forward to partnering with you on your healing journey.

Mission & Vision
MY MISSION
The mission of AMB Therapy is to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health services that support emotional awareness, regulation, and personal growth while fostering a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment for lasting change.
MY APPROACH
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with over 10 years of professional experience providing

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals. I use a collaborative, warm, and
non-judgmental approach, allowing you to move at a pace that feels comfortable while working toward
meaningful progress.

How We Work
What Therapy With Me Is Like
Therapy at AMB Therapy is collaborative, supportive, and personalized. Sessions focus on helping you
identify and regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop coping skills that fit your real life.
You can expect a space that is calm, respectful, and judgment-free—where you are encouraged to show up
as you are and grow at your own pace.
What to Expect in Your First Session
Your first session is designed to feel welcoming and pressure-free. We will discuss what brings you to
therapy, explore your goals, and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. This session also allows
you to experience my style and decide if moving forward together feels like the right fit.
You can schedule an intake session directly through our EHR system for either in-person or virtual
sessions, making it simple and secure to begin your therapy journey
Strengths I Bring to Therapy
One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients
feel heard, understood, and not alone. Many clients share that they experience a strong sense of comfort
and connection in our work together, which supports trust, openness, and meaningful progress.

for clients who appreciate gentle guidance, thoughtful challenges, and a sense of humor, while working
toward lasting change and emotional balance.
